SDPL / MSOP PRO CHAMPIONSHIPS

SDPL / MSOP PRO CHAMPIONSHIPS

2020 SDPL / MSOP Open Championship Breakdown

Here is a breakdown of the tournament. We will have two divisions, Pro and Amateur. Players will only be able to win money from the prize pool (division) for which they have entered.  We will also be offering an optional, $100 addon fee to the pro division for players that want to play for higher stakes. To be considered an MSOP champion for the event you must enter the “MSOP Pro” flight. If you are unsure what division you should be in, here is a rough guide:

Pro – This flight will have great putters. Players in this flight will usually have some professional putting or golfing experience. These putters would usually be the best putter in their regular playing group at their local course. These putters will be players in the scratch to 7 handicap range.

MSOP Pro Pool Addon (Optional) – This is for very high quality putters. There will be a $100.00 fee that will be in a separate prize pool. The winner will take all the cash.

Amateur – These are putters that do not have a lot of experience. These players just want to have fun and are not looking for a major financial commitment. These putters will be golfers over the 7 handicap mark. Seniors and kids are advised to play in this division.
